The German government, through GIZ, supports Albania by improving the capacity and performance of young people in the field of entrepreneurship related to agriculture, also through the SDR Albania project, implemented by ADRIAPOL Institute.
As part of “Agro Challenge 2020”, the fourth activity of this project took place on June 16, 2020 in the premises of “Youth Center Vlora”. This event was a business idea competition in Vlora, where approximately 7 startups had the opportunity to submit their business ideas to the jury.
Members of the jury were:
- Jeton Puka, Deputy Mayor of Vlora Municipality;
- Esmeralda Hasani, Director of Adriapol Institute;
- Rezara Kasemi, Lecturer, University of Vlora.
Only 5 of these startups will be part of the next bootcamp that will take place soon in Tirana.
Based on the pandemic situation, we took measures to keep the social distance and each startup presented their business idea by keeping the physical distance, in order to avoid public gathering.
