On Friday, 8th of May, 2020, Adriapol Institute participated in an “Tourism in Protected Areas, Challenges and Opportunities during COVID-19”.
The guest was the tourism specialist and lecturer Dr. Ardiana Mici and other important stakeholders, part of the industry of tourism operating in Albania.
The meeting discussed several important issues, such as the challenges that tourism will face after Covid-19, as well as the opportunities that Albania offers for the orientation of tourists towards nature and Protected Areas. Participants also discussed how this pandemic will change the lifestyle, but also the tourist destinations in Albania, measures that should be taken in order to have a sustainable development of tourism, etc.
